of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue
(Central Board of Excise & Customs), F. No.
11013/47/2004-Ad-IV dated 14.09.2004, the
Commissionerate of Service Tax, Kolkata came into effect
from 15.09.2004.The jurisdiction of the Service tax
Commissionerate, Kolkata is as follows.

In the Ward Nos. 1 to 141 of Kolkata Municipal Corp. and
districts of Hooghly, Nadia, North 24 Parganas, South 24
Parganas and Howrah Municipal Corporation area, Bally
Municipal area and Mourigram of the district of Howrah,
in the State of West Bengal.
The Service Tax Commissionerate consists of 3(three)
Divisions, as per Trade Notice No. 03/2004 dated
11.10.2004 of the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise,
